The Hotpoint Company was formed in 1911 and Hotpoint is now known around the world for kitchen appliances such as washing machines, freezers, refrigerators, and dishwasher repair . GE of the US established the Hotpoint Appliance Repair Company Limited to sell their appliances in the United Kingdom in 1920. Hotpoint merged with the GEC group in 1929.
